TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PHYSICAL VISITS TO THE KENYA HIGH COMMISSION, LONDON, OFFICE

The Kenya High Commission wishes to inform our esteemed clients and stakeholders that physical consular services (Submission of passports and ID Card applications) will be suspended with effect from 16th November 2020 until 4th December, 2020. We are in unprecedented times and the fight against the invisible Coronavirus (Covid-19) calls for deliberate individual and collective measures. This is in line with upholding the Covid-19 guidelines issued by our host government of the United Kingdom.

ACCESS TO CONSULAR SERVICES

We advice that for clients whose appointments have been affected due to this closure, will all be served on priority based on the existing and unconcluded bookings. However, clients whose appointments are scheduled from 7th December, 2020 onwards will be served at their scheduled appointment date and time.

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES SHALL CONTINUE TO BE RECEIVED AND PROCESSED VIA POSTAL SERVICES

·     Regaining Kenya Citizenship

·     Declaration of Kenya Citizenship

·     Voluntary Renunciation of Kenya citizenship

·     Birth/Death/Marriage certificates

·     Visa applications (Online applications for all Visa categories available on www.ecitizen.go.ke)

·     Pet Licences

·     Document Legalization

·     Police clearance Certificates

·     Document Legalization Applications

PROCEDURE FOR COLLECTION OF DOCUMENTS

Clients are requested to make adequate arrangements to collect their documents via postal services as follows:

a)  Provide a secure self-addressed special delivery envelope with pre-paid postage stamps and recorded/trackable for the dispatch of your documents. Upon submission of your application, the envelope should indicate full names and postcode of the applicant.

b)  For all applications clearly fill your full names and postal address, telephone number and emails on the application forms before sending your application by post.
