Dual Citizenship

Things to Note:

An application to declare dual citizenship can be submitted concurrently with a passport application.
Those who acquired citizenship of another country after 27th August, 2010 are eligible for dual citizenship
Those who have regained Kenya citizenship are required to apply for dual citizenship
Incomplete applications will not be processed and will be returned.

Provide your Full name and Postal address, Telephone number and Email address on the application forms before sending your application by post to facilitate dispatch of processed documents.

Requirements make a declaration as a Dual Citizen

A duly filled application Form (Click to download).
The form needs to be signed and stamped by a Solicitor/Notary/Commissioner of oaths.
Two passport size photographs
Copy of birth certificate
Copy of applicant’s Kenyan Passport ( Bio-data page )
Copy of applicant's Foreign Passport ( Bio-data page )
Copy of foreign Registration/ Naturalisation certificate
Copy of UK residence permit/visa
Documentary proof for changed names (Marriage certificate, Kenyan Deed Poll, Kenya Gazette Notice - Foreign Deed Poll NOT Accepted)
Payment of UK £185.00 in form of postal order / bank draft payable to Kenya High Commission to be sent with the application
