CALL FOR NOMINATIONS! JAMHURI DIASPORA AWARDS

The State Department for Diaspora Affairs is preparing to host the 2nd Jamhuri Diaspora Awards. This annual event serves as a platform to elevate the visibility of exemplary Kenyan diaspora individuals whose accomplishments inspire and motivate the wider community. In addition, the event fosters networking and collaboration among distinguished members of the Kenyan diaspora.

The event will recognize outstanding achievements and contributions of Kenyans in the diaspora across diverse fields, including:

Biashara    

Elimu

Talanta      

Nyumba Kumi

Kujitolea

Mazingira

Utafiti

Utamaduni

Michezo

Uzalendo

Uongozi

Kijiji Award

Tangaza

Uvumbuzi

Utetezi

Nomination process and eligibility

Nominations are open to all Kenyans in the diaspora who are making a positive impact within their respective fields. Each nomination should be submitted using the official Jamhuri Diaspora Awards Nomination Form, accessible via https://documents.kenyahighcom.org.uk/JAMHURI%20DIASPORA%20AWARDS%20NOMINATION%20FORM%20KHC-%20LONDON.pdf.

‍The form requires details about the nominee, a citation outlining their achievements, and specific grounds for recommendation.

The deadline for submissions is on or before 10th November 2025. Upon completion of the form, please send it and other enclosures to awards@diaspora.go.ke
